Bkk Thai Street Food in Frankfurt

Unfortunately, although the menu seems interesting at first, it was disappointing. Sparing with spices. We have never seen bland food being served in a Thai restaurant, and vegan dishes shouldn't be a challenge in 2020 either. Vegetables in coconut milk without any spices were served. The other dishes were too greasy and bland. Nobody understands the good reviews and why the wine list is so advertised. Experience was sobering. We didn't notice anything about the authentic cuisine, at most the furnishings were authentic.

FOOD & DRINKS We had the Tord Mun Pla, Sai Oua, Pad Krapao and Som Tum. Let's make it simple. All dishes were wonderful. The Thai sausage was the weakest of all though. It was a bit dry and could be slightly more aromatic. Also I couldn't find any dried shrimp in the papaya salad. I was happy to hear that you can order the dishes in their original spice level and it doesn't disappoint! On a side note, the drinks were amazing. SERVICE Such attentive and lovely service. Food also was served pretty quick. ATMOSPHERE AMAZING! This restaurant captures Street Food style par excellence and even goes beyond and add a modern stylish touch to it. This is next level! RATING Wonderful service, yummy food and an atmosphere that captures the essence of South East Asian street food. What more can you ask for? They made it so easy to give them 5 stars plus!

Very nice shop with authentic Thai food. I am a regular and have since tried the whole menu and have never been disappointed.

Great shop with cool interior design (especially the open kitchen and toilet) and a friendly team. The menu offers a clear selection of various typical street food dishes. Even as a vegetarian you can eat great here, as most dishes can simply be ordered without meat (e.g. with tofu instead). The food is very authentic and tastes great! Personally, I can't really understand all of the reviews in which the prices, which are quite normal for downtown and Oederweg conditions, are not really understood.

The food is very tasty and authentic (naturally also spicy). The staff are all really nice and give good recommendations and the interior is lovely too.

Also wanted to share my experiences. I was invited to this restaurant and after the good reviews on Thailand in Frankfurt I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately it wasn't like that. The homemade lemonade is more like half water half sugar (although it was probably really homemade). I also wanted to have a wine and had something recommended to me. He was mediocre for the hoopla. The food didn't knock me off my feet either, there are Thai snacks with food of the same quality.

The best Thai in all of Frankfurt! The food is very authentic and, in my opinion, comes out in very reasonable portions. If you complain about the prices, you should go to a cheap Thai snack bar (such as pattaya in Taunusstrasse) and enjoy your meal there. If you want a nice atmosphere around you, very nice staff and mega good quality, you will appreciate this place. Everywhere in the store you feel like you are in Thailand, the decoration has been thought through to the smallest details, in the toilet you feel like you're at a party, the chairs are just like on the streets in Bangkok and you can even look into the kitchen! The drinks menu is also impressive, the selection of wines is unbelievable, and I would advise everyone to try the Thai schnapps! I would only recommend BKK street food!

Food was whack over price for what it is & the service was poor ??

On the recommendation of a friend, we tried BKK today and are happy to pass on the positive feedback. The staff is friendly, the wine list is great and the food is authentic, ie well spicy! We will be back!

Authentic, like in Thailand from the tables to the chairs. Very cool interior. The food was fantastic. Everyone was super nice ... I can definitely recommend going there to everyone!

Authentic Thai-Food out of Bangkok!

Food tastes good, but unfortunately not very authentic. But the prices for what is on offer are simply cheeky. Small portions at very inflated prices. Staff was unfortunately also very overwhelmed. There won't be a second time for us here.

I visited this place on a Saturday night in a group of 3. First thing to know is this is a very popular place and is almost always full come dinner time so call ahead and reserve a table. We opted to sit outside where they have metal tables and plastic chairs near the curb to give you the street food vibe. Our waitress was very nice and offered a recommendation which was excellent(Khao Soi, delicious). All of the food was very very good, some of the best thai I've had and I highly recommend this place. The only reason I give it a 4 is because it took 45 mins for our food to arrive. Can't complain about anything else.

Very tasty, original Thai food. The price-performance ratio is perfectly reasonable (quality has its price). The service was very friendly and attentive and the ambience with beautiful details invites you to relax. Always my pleasure!

Nice shop that keeps what it promises. The owners bring a lot of experience from their other store in Frankfurt and that is particularly evident in the kitchen. The food is served in good portions and has an excellent taste! Watch out spicy! The staff is friendly and if you are lucky enough to be served by the boss, there are nice explanations about Thai cuisine and one or two recommendations for food. Please be sure to try Mai Thai if you are in the cocktail mood! That's just great!

I have never been to Thailand. This place definitely took me there. The food here tastes so good. The ladies who are working here are so nice. Love that everything including the chairs, the uniforms and wall decoration has been imported from Thailand to make the restaurant look as authentic as possible.

Super super food, the service is quick, unobtrusive and very nice. The prices are very good. I can only recommend it. gladly again!

BKK street Food is the best Thai in frankfurt City. If somebody says something bad about the restaurant, they have no idea what good Thai is looks like. BKK street food has awesome service, awesome dishes and a nice atmosphere ☝?

Great food and great vibes here! I went on a weeknight shortly after they opened and managed to get a table. They were completely packed within an hour of opening and it seems like most of the tables were booked for the night so be sure to make a reservation if you plan to go. I ordered the Khao Soi and Tum Taad to share along with their lemonades. For the two dishes I found most of the meat to be overcooked with the exception of the skewers. However the flavour was definitely there! BKK definitely has a great atmosphere and makes it feel like you're in Thailand with their seating arrangement especially now that you can sit outside and enjoy your meal in the bustling city. Would definitely go back again!

Tom Yam Gung € 22.50 - is that a misprint? Interesting concept with original seating from Thailand. Unfortunately simple but much too expensive (Pad Thai Gai € 12.50) and there are not many delicious dishes. Such as. Chicken with cashew nuts. My food, Pad Kra Pao, wasn't really hot. Strange when it should come fresh from the wok ?! In short - you can go there but the clear menu is very limited. The next time we go to the “Phuket Thai Imbiss” a few meters further. Our top for years - in terms of taste and price.

Thrle Kao Soi soup is out of this world. High quality fresh meat, herbs and spices, cooked perfectly. Faithful to Bangkok Street Food, some dishes are on the sugary side. Whether Thai Salat or Venus Mussels, there is an abundance of flavor and sugar. Whether or not you will enjoy it depends on your views on low carb dieting. There are however enough carb free dishes on the menu (what about deep fried chicken skin) to satisfy your craving for authentic Thai Street Food. Would have loved to see some Hanlay, beef meatball skewer or Beef Noodle soup on the menu, but let's see what winter brings!

highly recommended. Finally a truly authentic thai place in Frankfurt. Especially loved the tables and stools that really take you back to a proper Thai street kitchen. Friendly service and very tasty food. Only negative is the slightly too small portion size. Nevertheless my new go to place for real Thai food. And definitely a better option than the nearby Aroydee

Have rarely been allowed to eat such authentic dishes outside the Thai borders. Finally a non-European restaurant with its own identity. The service is incredibly friendly and patient. An absolute must for every connoisseur.

Amazing dinner - felt like being back in Bangkok. Som Tam, BBQ prawns and Fish cakes were all great!

This is one of the friendliest restaurants in Frankfurt, the staff is absolutely wonderful and the food is really tasty. Great for a casual meal as well as a date.
